Mango
Mango (Mangifera indica), often called the “King of Fruits,” is one of the most popular tropical fruits worldwide. Known for its delightful sweetness, fragrance, and rich flavor, mango is also a powerhouse of nutrition. It contains abundant vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber, making it beneficial for the immune system, skin, digestion, and overall vitality. Regular consumption of mango promotes both health and taste harmony.
Mango belongs to the Anacardiaceae family and is native to South and Southeast Asia. It has a fleshy pulp that varies in color from golden yellow to orange and contains a single seed in the center. Nutritionally, mangoes are an excellent source of vitamin C, vitamin A (beta-carotene), vitamin E, potassium, folate, and dietary fiber. They also contain polyphenols and mangiferin, potent antioxidants that combat oxidative stress and inflammation.
